With the Amended Whistleblower Protection Act coming into effect in June 2022, an official manual has been published in October 2021 for the Guidelines. Corporations are required to accurately understand the amendments, the Guidelines, and the manual, and to immediately organize their systems.
Internal reporting systems ensure corporate compliance and play an important role in enhancing corporate value. Therefore, it is necessary to consider how internal reporting systems should be positioned within a company’s compliance system and its overall framework as a function to prevent misconduct.
This seminar will guide you through the Amended Whistleblower Protection Act based on practical examples of how internal reporting systems should be utilized to prevent misconduct and what points to keep in mind.
